Trio World School (TWS) organises various competitions throughout the whole school year. It is our school policy to always promote maximum student, parent and teacher participation in all of our internal competitions. Please find a full listing below.

1.	All TWS Students	House Poetry Reading Certificate	Students must be able to recite their own House poem.	Presentation, Emotion, Clarity and Correctness.
2.	All TWS Students	Drawing/ Painting Award	For Art work carried out independently out of school	Neatness, Combinations, Symmetry, Creative conceptualization, Layout composition.
3.	All TWS Students, Parents & Teachers	Story TellingCertificate	A three minutes story delivery with a good moral will be appreciated.	Expression, Clarity, Memory, Matter, Voice modulation Stage presence.
4.	All High school Students, Parents & Teachers	Current IssuesPrize	5 minutes speech on a contemporary topic.	Expression, Clarity, Memory, Matter, Voice modulation Stage presence.
5.	All Senior TWS Students	Group Discussion Prize	A book will be given two weeks in advance and the students will discuss it in groups to identify good speakers.	Understanding and relevance, Expression, Body Language, Voice Modulation, Clarity of thoughts, Audibility and Ability to substantiate effectively.
6.	All Middle and High School Students	Debate Cup	The topic will be given in advance.	Expression, Clarity, Memory, Matter, Voice modulation Stage presence, Rebuttal competency.
7.	All TWS Students	Accountability Certificate	Continuously well presented for school	Clean hands, face and shoes for school every day and uniform in proper order.
8.	All TWS Students	Singing Award	The song can be in any language. Class teacher concerned shall be responsible for this.	Sur, Tal, Voice modulation, Expression, Lyrics and Overall effect.
9.	All TWS Students	Recitation Trophy	The students can render a Poem/ Passage/ Excerpts from the Speeches of great personalities.	Expression, Clarity, Memory, Matter, Voice modulation Stage presence.
10.	All TWS Students	Promoting Health Certificate	Continually promotes of healthy behavior, good eating, exercise, healthy living or general wellbeing.	Evidence that promotion of health demonstrated.
11.	All TWS Students	Headmasters award for Excellent Behavior	Student who is able to promote good behavior in other students and is, and continues to be an example of good conduct.	As advised by the teachers and local community
12.	All TWS Students	Dance Award	Dance presented needs approval	Steps, Rhythm, Body movement, Expression, Overall Effect.
13.	All TWS Students, Parents & Staff	Environmentalist Awarded	Someone positively benefiting our school environment or making significant contribution to community environmental issues.	Evidence of benefit to environment or understanding demonstrated.
14.	All High School TWS Students	Second Language Recitation Prize	The students can render a complex poem/ Passage/ Excerpts or read in a second language	Expression, Clarity, Memory, Matter, Voice modulation Stage presence.
15.	All TWS students	Sports Certificates & Cups	Cups and certificated at TWS are not just handed out for winner or those good at sports. But also for student who show a good TWS sprit.	Evidence of Sporting Success /Team work / Fair play or determination.
16.	All TWS Students, Parents and staff	Poetry Writing Certificate & Trophy	Submit an original poem	Originality, Content, Introduction and Conclusion.
17.	All TWS Kindergarten Students	Best KG Joke Prize	This competition may be entered into by Kindergarten students who need to tell the joke to the Headmaster.	To win this Prize you must make the Headmaster laugh.
18.	All TWS Middle & High School Students	Acting Certificate	Students are free to choose any script and any act. The presentation should not exceed 20 minutes.	Expression, Clarity, Memory, Matter, voice modulation Stage presence.
19.	All TWS Students, Parents and staff.	Fancy Dress Certificate	Students are free to choose any costume for school parties.	Originality and Creativity.
20.	Middle & Senior Students	The ExtemporeCup	The most difficult of all the TWS competitions to win. Topics are given on the spot by the Headmaster. A student must be able to respond immediately. Prize & Cup - awarded	Confidence

The main objective of many of the Trio World School competitions is not the winning of prizes, trophies, cups or Certificates but it is to offer positive experiences and activities to sharpen skills thereby enhancing personality. It also aims at nurturing positive competitive spirit within the TWS community. Care shall always be taken to give fair and unbiased judgment. Well known personalities from various fields shall also be invited to judge the competitions. We cordially welcome all external invitations from other clubs or schools to compete in any academic or sporting event.
